(February 27, 2020—Los Angeles, CA) Today, the renowned Monster Energy Outbreak Tour announces a slate of dates this spring with one of its most highly anticipated headliners to date: DaniLeigh. The Miami-born singer and dancing phenom first made waves as a protégé of the late legend Prince. Now a platinum selling artist in her own right, DaniLeigh has entranced fans across the globe with her sultry, Dominican-rooted sound. She will join an elite league of artists—alumni include Kendrick Lamar, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Post Malone, 21 Savage, The Chainsmokers, Kane Brown, and more—as she steps up to headline the world’s premiere tastemaker tour.
Pre-sales begin today at 12:00pm EST on Spotify, TicketMaster and LiveNation and end at 10:00pm local. Tickets go on sale February 28 at 10:00am local. DaniLeigh seemed destined for stardom from a young age; she cut her teeth by posting covers of songs like Musiq Soulchild’s “So Beautiful” on YouTube. It was her talent as a dancer, however, that led to a chance encounter with Prince, who was so awed by a clip of her dancing that he asked her to direct his “Breakfast Can Wait” music video. Prince began to mentor DaniLeigh’s burgeoning singing career, which quickly began to take off, leading to collaborations with J-Lo, Cardi B, Chris Brown, Lil Baby, Meghan Trainor, Pitbull, Pharrell, and more.
With a new album on the horizon, DaniLeigh is poised to deliver on the hype that has been building around her since she signed to Def Jam Recordings in 2017. She followed the October release of “Cravin’” ft. G-Eazy with a four-song surprise EP in December; the appropriately titled My Present EP dropped on her birthday and was addressed as a gift to her fans. With palpable anticipation to hit the road, DaniLeigh reveals, "I'm so excited to officially launch the Loved A Liar campaign by partnering with the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour to connect with my fans across the country and create memories together."
