A Benefit for #Pulse on June 26th, 2016

On June 12th,
2016, a horrific event took place that would affect the United States greatly.
When we all woke up on that Sunday morning, checking Facebook, listening
to the radio or watching the news, there was a panic that many felt and no
one could describe. Chills were running down people’s spines. Tears
were streaming down faces, and thoughts of “why” were scampering rapidly in
everyone’s minds.
No one knew the reasoning behind this appalling and
devastating incident. I, for one, felt a connection to what happened
in Orlando, Florida. I know such beautiful souls that live in the highly
populated area. I am also a supporter of the #LGBT
community. I take it to heart when a senseless act takes place like
others as well. However, I know the people of Orlando are pulling
together to make a difference for everyone that has been affected by this.
On Saturday, June 26th,
2016, members of the metal music scene in Florida will be
putting on a benefit show for the victims of the Pulse shootingscalled #OrlandoLove. On
Facebook, there is an event page that features what bands will be playing, and
a raffle will be taking place as well.

This event will be a gathering of Orlando native bands working together to help our community in its time of need. All proceeds will go to the Pulse Victims fund via Equality Florida.

We will be raffling off a lot of amazing prizes in order to raise money, including an Orange Amplifiers Micro Terror, a guitar from ESP Guitars, a tattoo from Cj Orazi at Atomic Tattoos Florida Mall 407.816.6333, tattoos from Against The Grain Tattoo, a 4 hour legal consult with Player Entertainment Law, a BC Rich guitar donated by Rijua, Swag from BFK Clothing Company, a GIANT local music merch package, local artwork from Cj Orazi and Justice Maynard, a custom piece of art from Fouronefive Designs, tickets to Lacey Sturm via Records and much more.
There will be Rainbow shots just for the event whose sales will go towards proceeds.
There's so much more to add in the coming days! Thank you all for your love and support. The overwhelming community outreach we've seen to try and help makes us proud to call this place our home!
