Artist to Watch For- RALPHY

 RALPHY is a talented Singer/Songwriter who has spent most of her life entertaining audiences with her rich and dynamic vocals.

RALPHY is also known as quite the ‘Fashionista’ after establishing her own boutique label ‘Swanlea' in 2006. As an Entertainer, RALPHY combines her love for music and fashion into an art form making her live performances unforgettable!


 
Unrated Dan: Who are your influences and why?
I have been influenced by many over the years, but have to say the top 2 are David Bowie and Madonna, I love that their work is not just about the music but also about the visual impact, also spreading good messages to the world through their art. It is also so inspiring that they both came from working class that just dedication passion and hard work got them to the top of their game. That is a real artist

Unrated Dan: What is your latest project or album?

My latest project is my EP "PEACE LOVER" which drops 5th April 2016. I'm so excited about this! What a long hard road this has been, now finally things are coming together. The anticipation for people to hear it and get the EP out is a buzz. Then to do what I love most getting on stage with all the new music

Unrated Dan: What about a tour? What are your current touring plans?
We are putting together an amazing live act:- dancers with fabulous costumes, fun lighting and other surprises for visual impact. Make sure you follow on social media to keep updated on gig dates.

Unrated Dan: What is the passion you have toward music and why?
I love music, it has the power to take you to a different time and place. I feel blessed when people listen to my music and it takes them to a happy place where they are free to dance enjoy and let go

Unrated Dan:  Are you creative in any other arts including sciences and technology?
Designing cloths and new fashion that's not a science but could lend its self to technology especially when creating props and costumes for my live shows and music videos, I love creating art for our promo videos we really do have so much fun, I could do this all day everyday always time for a photo shoot! I have just teamed up with Hot Box Vintage we will have our own fashion label collection from recycled vintage clothing which I love because we are not only helping the planet but everyone walks away with their own unique piece of fashion

Unrated Dan: Do you have a family and how supportive are they?
Yes I have an amazing family, I know everyone says that but I really do! I have 3 super cool brothers and the best mum and dad anyone could ask for they are so supportive they on the other side of the world in Melbourne Australia and I'm here in LA. I could not do this without their emotional support this is such a hard career path with so many knock backs people saying no. But you can keep going on the hard days when you know people believe in you and love you

Unrated Dan: How do you plan to invest the successes you have monetarily? And does the future hold?
As for the future I just plan to keep making art, making people happy, making them think a little about the planet and hopefully make people feel sexy in their own skin and send out peace and love.
