WHAT
From July 9 - 19, Festival d'été de Québec - Canada's largest outdoor music festival - will offer a knockout 48th season presenting some 1,000 artists in 300 events at 10 singular indoor and outdoor venues over the course of 11 event-packed days in historically picturesque Québec City. Just added to this year's Festival are the sounds of heavy metal from Megadeth (July 18), Porter Robinson's electro music (July 12), folk from Joe Robinson (July 10), and the rock of The Districts and Galaxie (prior to The Rolling Stones on July 15). They all join the previously announced line-up of headliners that includes The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Keith Urban, Iggy Azalea, The Doobie Brothers, Royal Blood, Vance Joy, Future Islands, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Viet Cong, Interpol, and Milky Chance, along with Icona Pop, Boston, Tragically Hip, and Zappa Plays Zappa.
A citywide event, Festival d'été de Québec also features street performers, acrobats, jugglers, stilt walkers, and family activities. Detailed listings of programming and schedule are available at www.infofestival.com
