Danish born singer Kaaliyah Stephanie Kumapayi, or simply known as "Kaaliyah," is out with her debut single "Rust & Bone" accompanied by a brand new video. The sound of Kaaliyah invokes nostalgia for the sounds of late 90's and early millennium RnB with her riveting vocal arrangements and performance prowess. Her sultry sound stems from a sensational blend of amorously shaded vocals and electronically tinged melodies that draw comparisons to world renowned talents such as Ciara and Tinashe.
Her new single, "Rust & Bone," is produced by Louis Winding, who has previously produced for artists including Brandy, Outlandish, and Jamelia. The single is the first taste of her upcoming debut EP, entitled Darkpop (FirstSequence), which is out later this year.
