So, we’re at the ninth film (out of fucking THIRTEEN) in the Schoolgirl Report series. By now you should probably know the drill. If not, well, let me get you up to speed. The films are supposed to be a series of shocking exposés on the sex lives of teenage girls. As you can imagine, that premise kind of lends itself to exploitation pretty easily. Anyway, you should probably not go into these films expecting anything resembling an education. The only thing these films are concerned with is getting as many girls nude as possible. And at that they excel.
The moralizing starts quick as a large group of drunk teens pile into a couple of cars and careen down the country roads. One of them plow headlong into a tree while the second crashes into a ditch. Two of the kids are hospitalized in the accidents. The police in charge of the case investigate the events that lead up to the crash, which leads us into our anthology format.
The first story involves Petra who decides that at eighteen years of age she’s going to get married. Things don’t go as well as planned, as you can imagine. Next up, a nosey classmate will go to creepy extremes to keep Tessy from getting laid at an orgy. In another story Susie’s stepfather blackmails her into an affair (with the girl getting pregnant as a result) after catching her in bed with her friend Uschi. Then Katja’s parents try to act hip to try to impress her. The next story involves Claudia who can’t make love to her boyfriend because she once saw a flasher with an absurdly oversized dildo. And the last story is about Monika who has dropped out of school to live with her boyfriend. He can’t seem to find a job and won’t ask his rich friend. So Monika goes to the party to try to bribe
The Schoolgirl report films are at their best when they’re having fun. And when they’re having fun they are mindless entertainment. The films always come to a screeching halt when they get to the mandatory handwringing. I don’t know who they thought they were fooling with these bits. Still, those parts are outnumbered by the ridiculous parts. Overall the series is a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to the next installment.
Where this disc fails is in the picture category. This DVD looks awful. This is obviously taken from a tape source, probably a one inch master I’m assuming. I mean, it looks better than VHS but not by that much. There’s a lot of video noise blooming out of bright white spots in the image. So, be aware. It’s a fun movie so I’d recommend watching it, just wait for a sale maybe. There are no extras or anything either so there’s that.
