REINFORCES COMMITMENT TO THE OHIO VALLEY: FANS AFFECTED BY ECONOMIC DOWNTURN OFFERED $30 TICKETS TO THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL

SATURDAY, MAY 16 AND SUNDAY, MAY 17 AT COLUMBUS, OHIO'S CREW STADIUM

The third annual ROCK ON THE RANGE festival--which returns to central Ohio this week--is making a special offer to the recently unemployed rock fans of the Ohio Valley : $30.00 general admission stadium tickets!

To take advantage of this limited-time offer, fans who would like to attend this year's festival should bring a State-issued unemployment certification or an unemployment pay stub to the Columbus Crew Box office from Wednesday, May 13 at 9:00 AM until Thursday May 14 at 5:00 PM. Each person with valid documentation may purchase up to two general admission stadium tickets per festival day at this special price, while supplies last.

"From the start, ROCK ON THE RANGE made a vow to be 'the people's festival,'" says Del Williams, co-executive producer of ROCK ON THE RANGE. "We are deeply concerned about the mass layoffs that continue to affect the Ohio Valley. In keeping with our pledge, we feel it is our duty to help the people that have been victims of the sluggish economy and make it as easy as possible for them to attend ROCK ON THE RANGE this year. We hope this festival can provide a little escape from these tough times."

THIS OFFER WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE COLUMBUS CREW STADIUM BOX OFFICE ONLY FROM 9:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 13 UNTIL 5:00 PM THURSDAY, MAY 14.
