Kate Voegele Showcases In Chicago

The lovely Kate Voegele showcased her talents at Schubas Tavern on Feburary 10, 2008 in Chicago. Under the newly formed MySpace Records, Kate's talent as a singer/songwriter has been the feature artist on MySpace.com. One thing noticed that not much of the record label was evident at Schubas. I guess we all know Kate belongs to Myspace. Schubas is a intimate venue and gladly hosted a sellout crow of fans that absolutely loved her...this was a all ages show as her fan base is the MySpace era bringing in teens as well as a mature audience.
The concert in Chicago is her second date on tour. Kate very much expressed her love with the Windy City. In addition this is her first time touring with a band which added a new twist to live on the road. Kate was very expressive in her acoustic set, maybe no electric guitar tonight, but all felt the electricity on the stage and from the fans. From time to time Kate would talk and laugh a bit, telling the road blues in story time such as, "Don't take a shower on the tour bus, because the chances are you'll fall out into the middle of the isle."
