Common Performs For The "Dare to Dream" Benefit Event

In an effort to raise money for The Common Ground Foundation and The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), the "Dare to Dream" benefit concert event and silent auction was held at the House of Blues in Chicago on January 12, 2008. Over $35,000 was raised and a check was presented to the groups. While the silent auction was taking place during the night, many acts contributed their artistry on stage with the final performance by Common.
