Cherrytree Records’ Next Musical Phenomenon, Skylar Coming Near You

Songwriter and extraordinary vocalist Skylar Stecker is gearing up for a big year. As Cherrytree Records’ next musical phenomenon, Skylar delivers a mix of hip-hop-inspired beats, electro-pop synths, and R&B-laced grooves that showcase her natural grasp of melody, dynamic vocal presence, and thoughtful, uplifting lyrics. Skylar recently released her new single “Let It Show”, and its accompanying lyric video, weaving a sound that is minimal and modern and emphasizing her distinct and expressive voice. Skylar is currently on a US tour with Pop/Rock favorites Marianas Trench, with stops scheduled in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Nashville.

With a powerful voice reminiscent of vocal heavyweights like Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande, Skylar already has everyone talking. She became Elvis Duran’s “Artist of The Month” on The TODAY Show, was featured on Vevo’s DSCVR series, and was named iHeartRadio’s “Next Up” artist, among other highlights like Billboard’s claim; “This singer is about to blow your mind.” Skylar has collected an impressive 30-million views and 340K subscribers on YouTube, 220,000 followers on Instagram, and 68K likes to her verified Facebook page.

Skylar was signed to Cherrytree Records by the progressive music company's chairman Martin Kierszenbaum, whose credits include songwriting and production for musical icons such as Sting, Lady Gaga,  Robyn and Mylène Farmer. Cherrytree recently released a Signature Edition of Skylar’s debut full-length album, ‘This Is Me.' on which Skylar wrote the majority of the songs and worked with a host of top-notch producers including RedOne, Rock Mafia, The Stereotypes, Twin, Gavin Brown, and Jonas Saeed.
