Songwriter and extraordinary vocalist Skylar Stecker is gearing up for a big year. As Cherrytree Records’ next musical phenomenon, Skylar delivers a mix of hip-hop-inspired beats, electro-pop synths, and R&B-laced grooves that showcase her natural grasp of melody, dynamic vocal presence, and thoughtful, uplifting lyrics. Skylar was signed to Cherrytree Records by the progressive music company's chairman Martin Kierszenbaum, whose credits include songwriting and production for musical icons such as Sting, Lady Gaga, Robyn and Mylène Farmer. Cherrytree recently released a Signature Edition of Skylar’s debut full-length album, ‘This Is Me.' on which Skylar wrote the majority of the songs and worked with a host of top-notch producers including RedOne, Rock Mafia, The Stereotypes, Twin, Gavin Brown, and Jonas Saeed.
