Last summer I reviewed what I believe is the most disturbing and highly controversial film I have ever seen, A Serbian Film. While the film is well made in that the direction, acting, script and those nasty special effects are all top notch, the movie doesn't just push the boundaries in good taste, it tears them down. It's extremely difficult for me to recommend this film to anyone, nor would I want to. However the story of a former porn star pulled back into the adult world when he is introduced to a new artistic film maker is so captivating and mysterious that I can't help but appreciate the film for what it sets out to do. And the version I saw at the time was an edited cut!
Now, Invincible Pictures is offering fans a chance to see the film that has been banned from many countries, causing numerous court battles, completely uncut. Yeah...folks, this is pretty much the most offensive and stomach churning film you will ever see. Love it or hate it, A Serbian Film is a movie that will never be forgotten.
