The Uninvited (Movie)

The Uninvited

Anna, a teen aged girl just arrives home after being released from the metal hospital because of suicidal tendencies. About a year back her mother was accidentally blown up. That is correct, "blow up, Sir!" in the family boat house. The mother was on her last breath and wanted to spend her time overlooking the lake...in the furnished boat house. Wow! Anna returns to her father, who's a published author, sister and dad's new fling. The movie is suspenseful and you feel for the Anna and what she is going through believing that her mother's death is the result of foul play. Now Anna is dealing with the fact that her father house has thin walls at night, the nurse that took care of her mother, is on her back with her dad. How fitting, mom is dead, and dad already has a squeeze. Dad's squeeze is demanding of the Anna and works at establishing a relationship with Anna, which she tells her to move on and be strong. While Alex, Anna's sister, finds escape by getting drunk. The two girls start to research dad's muse to discover the great fortune that the nurse now landed, a financially secure boyfriend, and the possibility of marriage. The girls plot to collect evidence and violent chaos is released. But that is not all. One's own mind is also one's own fantasy.

I enjoyed the movie and was engaged, it was not horrific and the suspense did not make you jump too much. For some of you, you might guess the plot, but if not, hang tight and watch the flick.
