Lollapalooza 2007 After Party at Hard Rock Hotel Sponsored by CKIN2U and Blender Magazine

While the Lollapalooza weekend was chock-full of great live music over at Grant Park, the event worth talking about was a weekend-long experience held at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago. The three day 'VIP & Artist retreat' was sponsored by CK IN2U fragrance and Blender Magazine that had a relaxing spot for rock stars, media, and VIP guests during the day, and the most insane parties at night. During the day you could walk around and mingle with Lolla artists that had stopped by, drink some Goose Island 312 beer, play some Guitar Hero , get your haircut, stop by for a massage, get a tattoo, or watch any one of a number of live interviews being conducted by Sirius Satellite Radio.

At night, the masses would line up outside, in hopes that they had gotten there early enough to be invited inside. Inside the walls of the Hard Rock Hotel, the parties offered an open bar stocked with Heineken and handmade vodka, live music from Lolla acts such as The Polyphonic Spree and Motion City Soundtrack, and guest DJ's to get things started. Friday the guest DJ was Danny Masterson from 'That 70's Show' a.k.a. DJ momjeans, and Saturday the crowd was treated to a legend of rock music – Marky Ramone, the one time drummer of the Ramones!

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were seen here and there during the weekend along with the ever-present Perez Hilton and his camera crew. The parties went into the early morning and everyone sang, danced, and mingled with complete strangers in what will be one of the most exciting weekends of the year for avid music fans!
