Award Winning Rock Radio Host LOU BRUTUS to Host ROCK FEST in Cadott, WI – July 16-19, 2015

Rock Radio legend LOU BRUTUS will return as stage host of ROCK FEST in Cadott, WI, July 16-19, 2015.


The four-day event will feature over 50 bands including Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Nickelback, All That Remains, Pop Evil, and others. BRUTUS first introduced many of these bands to a national audience.

Rock Fest organizers said of BRUTUS, “We are honored to have Lou Brutus back with us at Rock Fest. He’s an icon in the rock community and epitomizes what it means to simply love rock music.”

On hosting the event BRUTUS said, “I’ve covered festivals all over the world and Rock Fest is definitely one of the most fun. We will rock like beasts until our ears bleed.”

Brutus is frequently onstage to host some of the biggest festivals in music including Knotfest (San Bernardino, CA), where this past October, he also hosted its worldwide webcast. He’s also acted as stage host for Rock on The Range, Rockstar Uproar, Rockstar Mayhem, Sonic Boom, Band Camp and countless other concerts and festivals. He has traveled the globe for three decades covering many of the biggest music events in history including Live Aid, Live 8, Live Earth, and The Wall at the Berlin Wall.

LOU BRUTUS is best known for his eighteen plus years of national syndication hosting hardDrive and hardDriveXL, heard on over 100 radio stations in the United States and Europe, as well as his work on other national radio platforms. He’s done local shows in Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington DC, and Providence.

Brutus has also hosted radio specials and/or created radio channels for Metallica, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Rush, Disturbed, Theory of A Deadman, Smashing Pumpkins, and numerous others.

Earlier this year, Brutus was the recipient of his second straight award as Nationally Syndicated DJ of the Year at the prestigious Radio Contraband Rock Radio Awards in Las Vegas, NV.


LOU BRUTUS is currently working on two books. The first is a coffee table book of his rock memorabilia collection entitled “One Man - Two Thousand Concerts: The Greatest F*cking Collection of Rock Show Sh*t in History”. The second is a book of his adventures in music entitled “SONIC WARRIOR: My Life As A Rock and Roll Reprobate – Tales of Sex, Drugs and Vomiting At Inopportune Moments”.
