Who is Phosphene



Sometimes things fall apart so better things can come together. This is the mindset of Chicago’s hottest female-fronted pop rock band “Phosphene”.Keeping their spirits resilient in the face of overwhelming odds, Phosphene is known for being the hardest working band in Chicago.

Working as a highly driven quartet, the band finished their first full length album, Any Last Words, which they released January 5th, 2014 headlining the House of Blues in Chicago. Prior to that show, Phosphene marked their debut as a band while headlining the official Lollapalooza after party at the Hard Rock Café in Chicago.



Phosphene is leading the Illinois rock market with over 120,000 fans worldwide. Phosphene’s singles have been played on different radio stations that air both nationally and internationally. They have been featured on TV with FOX NEWS, ABC 7 NEWS and The Mancow Show. Phosphene’s singer Jeni sang the National Anthem on ESPN "Friday Night Fights" hosted by Mike Tyson.


Phosphene toured the US in 2014 creating national buzz and building their fan base. They were chosen to play the SNOCORE TOUR with The Pretty Reckless, as well as Revolver Magazines Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock Tour with Lacuna coil and Sick Puppies. They showcased their talents at SXSW and earned a spot on the Vans Warped Tour 2014 Ernie Ball Stage.




The band spent the last several months in-studio with producer Erik Nelson working on their highly anticipated sophomore album, PHOSPHENE, due out Spring 2015.

Jeni the lead singer of Phosphene states “We put our blood, sweat, and tears into this project and spent many sleepless nights perfecting and analyzing our music so it would not only reach the hearts but shake the souls of all our listeners.”
