Madchild Releases Video For “Slayer” & Announces Headlining Tour Dates

With the release of Madchild’s new album “Silver Tongue Devil” just over a month away, Madchild has dropped his new music video for “Slayer” featuring Demrick online at https://youtu.be/-5axNHuppS8. "Slayer" is available as an instant download for fans that pre-order the album on iTunes online at http://bit.ly/SilverTongueDeviliTunes. Madchild’s new album “Silver Tongue Devil” will hit stores on July 24th via Madchild's Battle Axe Records and will feature collaborations with Evidence, Slaine, Demrick and JD Era.

"I love this song 'Slayer' and as an addition to the 'Silver Tongue Devil' album. The song and video features fellow Battleaxe Warrior and artist Demrick, but it’s a completely different feel then the previous song we did together," said Madchild. "We shot this video with Jacob Owens from Buff Nerds and found a really cool abandoned mall that we had to break into. It was such a trip walking around filming in this massive and eerie abandoned building and I’m pretty sure it was haunted! I'm excited for the way it turned out and I think it sounds perfect as a part of my new album 'Silver Tongue Devil'."

Madchild carefully crafted every aspect of "Silver Tongue Devil" from the artwork, down to the handwritten graffiti style fonts that are used in the album's linear notes. To construct the visual look for the album, Madchild commissioned legendary street artist L'Amour Supreme to create the cover art. The striking image conveys the attitude, style, tone, and feel of the music contained on "Silver Tongue Devil". The imagery is meant to captivate the listener and convey the essence of the music as it catapults fans inside the mind of the Canadian born emcee. “Silver Tongue Devil” record is available for pre-order online at www.Bit.ly/BattleaxeOfficial with a limited edition t-shirt from Mishka NYC.

Madchild is building off the success of his recently released “Switched On” EP, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Rap Chart. Upon the album’s release, Madchild hit the road on a non-stop tour that took him around the globe hitting Europe, Australia and the United States, before heading out across Canada with the newest Battle Axe signee Demrick. After his relentless tour schedule came to an end, Madchild hit the studio to record the brand new Supreme Villain song “The Enemy” with Slaine for The "GirlHouse" movie soundtrack.

Madchild is set to hit the road for a series of headlining shows in support of “Silver Tongue Devil” later this summer, including an appearance at the 2015 Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA with Slipknot, Deftones, Shinedown, and Yelawolf.
