Review by James Klein

There isn't too much that can be said about The Chambermaids. It's a straight up adult film with very little dialog and one basic set: a bedroom. Sure there are a few bedrooms to be seen but The Chambermaids may be one of the most blandest sex films you'll see in awhile. This rare fuck film that's been brought back to life by the folks at Impulse makes one wonder why they even bothered.

Mary Ellen and Sally are two maids at a hotel who can't seem to make enough money and are bored with their mundane job. The two gals (one looks rather manly whose vagina looks like a piece of chewed up chewing gum) come up with an idea to make a little extra money by giving the guests a little something "extra". And within seconds, both whores are at it, banging all sorts of hairy 70's men.

One of the men that gets his rocks off has the girls come over to his place later that night to meet a friend of his named Smitty (Jeffrey Hurst, one of the hairiest adult stars out there and also played Dr. Crotch in Sweet, Sweet Freedom). The two men want to party but basically its a ploy to just have sex with these sluts. Smitty's wife gets in on the fun too unbeknownst to him as well as a newlywed couple whose husband can't get a boner now that he's married while his new wife masturbates while alone before getting fucked and sucked by one of the businessmen.

With library music playing constantly and boom mike shadows and jump cuts galore, this amateurish adult film is a mess. While I normally find some entertainment out of sloppily made adult movies, the film is just one sex scene after another. Not even a director's name is listed. Very little dialog for one to laugh at, not much in background scenery for myself to reminisce about the 70's, it's just a straight up sex movie for men (and I guess women) to jack off/rub to.

The DVD doesn't have one single special feature but that is now expected from Impulse. The picture looks like hell even though the colors seem more vibrant than they should. The sound is fine but then again its mostly music. Only for the hardcore fans.
