Kacey Musgraves To Tour With Katy Perry in 2014
Musgraves and Perry formed a friendship last year writing together, and later performing together at the Hollywood Bowl when Perry invited Musgraves to be a part of her ‘We Can Survive’ concert which raised funds for the Young Survival Coalition, an organization supporting young women battling breast cancer.
“I’m SO EXCITED to be joining Katy on her tour this summer in the US and Canada,” exclaimed Musgraves. “As a longtime fan, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this and join such a strong woman on the road. Her audiences are amazing and I love that she supports all genres. Come see us!”
The GRAMMY Awards recently honored Musgraves with four nominations –Best Country Album (“Same Trailer Different Park”), Best Country Song (two nominations for writing “Merry Go ‘Round” and “Mama’s Broken Heart”) and the overall Best New Artist Category. She was also announced as a performer on the January 26th show, which will be her GRAMMY performance debut.
